DiaSorin Liaison XL – A high-capacity CLIA system for hormones, thyroid function, fertility, metabolism, vitamins, tumour markers and infectious diseases.
Quality control
Daily internal quality control – Internal quality control is performed before patient samples are processed. Control results are recorded and monitored against established acceptance criteria.
External quality assessment 12 times a year – Bona Lab participates in BioSystems S.A.’s PREVECAL clinical biochemistry programme, with a control sample every month.
Professional verification of every result – Before release, results are reviewed and approved by qualified laboratory staff — a medical biochemist.
Additional checks for unusual results – The sample, analyser and internal controls are checked. The test is repeated when necessary, and the result is not released until its reliability has been confirmed.
